RAVENS ACADEMY NURSERY

The Published Admissions Number (PAN) for the Nursery class at Ravens Academy 26. The Governing Body has sole responsibility for admissions to this nursery and intends to admit 26 children in the school year which begins in September.

Children must be 3 years old to be accepted for Nursery.

 

OVERSUBSCRIPTION CRITERIA

Priority will be given to children who are 3 years old.

Where there are more applications than the number of places available, places will be offered according to the following order of priority: –

  1. Children in public care (looked after children), previously looked after or those children at risk of becoming looked after and those adopted from overseas.
  2. Children who will have a sibling in attendance at the time of their admission.
  3. Those living nearest the school/setting.

IN YEAR ADMISSIONS

In year applications are processed as above with priority given to those children who are 3 years old.

WAITING LIST

 The Nursery will maintain a waiting list for all children and will contact parents/carers when a place becomes available.

To be added to our waiting list please contact the school office for an application from. Once this has been completed and returned your child’s name will be added to the waiting list.
