Breakfast club starts at 8am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. For free, your child can come to Breakfast Club, where they will be supervised by members of staff and given a good breakfast, with a wide choice of food, such as cereal, toast and fruit. Children can also choose between juice, milk, water, tea (hot chocolate in winter) to drink.

At 8.40 am, the children are taken to their classes and you are safe in the knowledge that they are ready for the school day.

If you are interested in a place in Breakfast Club for your child, either for a whole week or for certain days, please speak to a member of staff in the school office.

Our school has joined the government’s National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP), which is being delivered by the charities Family Action and Magic Breakfast.

As a NSBP School we are pleased to offer a healthy bagel, available to all and enjoy the benefits that brings, with children settled and ready to learn at the start of the school day.

Clubs are a really important and popular area of our academy life. We realise the extended opportunities that a child can benefit from attending these extra-curricular activities each week, adding to their cultural capital experience. Ravens Academy runs weekly after school clubs but also offer bespoke tutoring and booster sessions. These booster sessions are led by our own staff including the Senior Leadership Team. All of our boosters and tutoring sessions are free of charge.

Not only do we offer our students at Ravens Academy afterschool football, Arts and Crafts and performing arts club, we also offer an exciting History club where we work closely with the local Priory to explore their fascinating grounds and history. Our current Autumn clubs include:

  • Dungeons and Dragons
  • Dance, including Baby Ballet
  • Ukulele
  • Skateboarding
  • Karate
  • Football
  • Online Third Space Maths Tutoring
  • English and Maths tutoring
  • Chess Club
  • Homework Club
